Hi, I’m Rae.
I’m an artist, author of more than 24 books, and a creativity coach, and I’m the founder of Lamplighter Circle. As a busy wife, mom, and bubby with a gazillion passions, I know what it is to wear a lot of hats and wonder how to fit your own dreams in.
With the help of G-d, I’ve guided more than 3,000 creative women and kids through their passion and legacy projects for over 30 years, first as a school librarian and gifted education specialist, and now with my “grownup gifted kids” the creative Jewish women that I lovingly call my passionistas.
My own legacy project is Gevaldig! – a 40-book Torah calligraphy artnote series, has been 36 years in the making. B”H, I’m on volume 5. I teach Divine timing because I live it.

My Books
For over 30 years I’ve been writing, illustrating, and self-publishing books – 24 books so far under my Holy Sparks Press, with more on the way. You’ll find Torah art journals, Jewish adult and family coloring and activity books, planners, and creative guide.
My current legacy project is the Gevaldig! series, a 40-volume collection of my handwritten calligraphy artnotes drawn from hundreds of Torah and Chassidus classes over 36 years. Volume 5, Grab Hold of Life and Fill It with Holiness, just arrived.
