Description

Every year Rosh Chodesh Elul arrives and there’s this feeling. A whole year went by. You meant to change the thing. You meant to be a little different by now.

And everyone tells you Elul is the month for it. Nobody hands you the actual pages.

So here they are. Three printable ebooks for the High Holidays, 199 pages, hand lettered over thirty years of Torah classes, that take you from the first day of Elul through Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and all the way into your sukkah.

Rabbi Schneur Zalman of Liadi taught that in Elul, the King is in the field. The rest of the year, if you want an audience with the King, you dress up. You pass through the gates. You get permission from the ministers and the guards, and even then He’s often stern. But for one month He walks out into the fields where we’re actually working, and He receives everyone with a smiling face. The farmer in his dusty clothes has more access than the ministers in the palace.

You come as you are. That’s what this bundle will help you do. Greet the King of Kings.

What’s inside the High Holidays Soul Kit Bundle

The Return to G-d Soul Kit: 47 pages of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur printables

Calligraphy Artnotes and guided Soul Adventures for the spiritual work of Elul and the Ten Days of Awe. It’s built to help you do a real cheshbon hanefesh, an accounting of the soul, without the dread that usually comes with it.

Inside you’ll find 28 print-quality Artnotes to hang on your walls, in your car, and on your fridge. 21 Soul Adventures, which are creative exercises for looking honestly at your life and changing one small thing. And 12 coloring pages the whole family can color and talk about together.

You’ll get the Four R’s of Teshuva. The Spiritual Accounting ledger with Blessings down one side and Mistakes down the other. Healing Regrets. Break the Chain with Forgiveness. And a beautiful bordered page for writing your letter to G-d.

What’s a Soul Like You Doing in a World Like This? 142 pages, 42 days

This is the deep one, and it’s the reason the bundle exists.

It’s a six week, day by day program to help you find your absolutely unique purpose in this world and build a real plan for living it. Six weeks: Imagine Your Life in a Perfect World. Sing Your Good Points. Create Your Ideal World. Breakthroughs. Transforming Failure into Success. Planning for Success.

Along the way you’ll draw your Life Map, write your Ethical Will, draft your Personal Mission Statement, work through your Ten Year Plan, and plan the year ahead in real detail. You’ll learn ten Spiritual Power Tools, including joy, breath, meditation, bitachon, mitzvahs, blessing, consistency, gratitude and prayer.

There’s a whole week on making friends with your Inner Brat and taming the Harsh Inner Critic, because those two show up every single time anyone tries to change anything.

Here’s the part I love. Start it on Rosh Chodesh Elul and you finish right around Yom Kippur. That’s the forty days of teshuva, and you spend them not just apologizing for the year behind you but building the one in front of you.

10 Sukkah Posters To Print: hand lettered Sukkot decorations and wall art

Ten full-page hand-lettered, illustrated Artnotes for Sukkos and Shemini Atzeret, sized for 8½ x 11 and scalable larger, to print, color, and hang in your sukkah or around your home. If you’ve been hanging the same laminated Sukkot decorations for years, this is original Sukkot art you can’t buy anywhere else.

The Sukkah is a divine embrace. The Sukkah is G-d hugging us. Rabbi Reuven Wolf teaches that a hug says, I won’t let you go away from me, and that G-d doesn’t only love our front, He loves our back. There’s a page of the Seven Holy Guests, one on the four species and what each one is in your own body, and the one that just says, “I love you because you’re you!”

These are $14.99 on their own. In the bundle they come along free.

Not another Rosh Hashanah coloring pack

Most printables you’ll find for the Jewish New Year are made for children. Apples, honey, a shofar, ten minutes of quiet at the table.

This one is for you.

Every page in it was hand-lettered by a master calligrapher, in real time, in real Torah classes, over thirty years. The teachings are sourced and named: Rabbi Elchonon Tauber, Rabbi Reuven Wolf, Rabbi Shimon Raichik, Rabbi C.Z. Citron, Rabbi Shlomo Holland, Mrs. Etti Rafi, Mrs. Chana Rachel Schusterman, Mrs. Shira Smiles, Mrs. Olivia Schwartz, Mrs. Chavi Panet.

Your kids can absolutely color these pages, and I hope they do. But the wisdom on them was written for all of us doing the real work of reconnecting with our true selves.

Who this is for

If Elul makes you feel behind before it even starts, this is for you.

If you’ve been meaning to journal, to plan, to make a real cheshbon hanefesh, and it keeps slipping by, this is for you.

If you want something beautiful for your walls and your sukkah instead of the same laminated posters as last year, this is for you.

If you’re newer to Torah and don’t want to be the only one in the room who doesn’t know what teshuva actually means in practice, this is for you. There’s a glossary, and nothing assumes you already know.

And if you’re not Jewish and you’ve found your way here anyway, you’re welcome. Plenty of people who use these pages aren’t, and they write to tell me so.

You do not have to be artistic. Not even a little. There’s no wrong way to color a page and no wrong answer to a journal prompt. If you can hold a colored pencil, you can do all of this.

How to use it from Elul through Sukkos

Tonight or tomorrow. Print three or four Artnotes that catch your eye and put them up. Fridge, bathroom mirror, above the kitchen sink, on the dashboard. Wherever you’re standing when your mind goes sideways.

Rosh Chodesh Elul. Open the 42 day plan and do Day 1. It takes about ten minutes.

Through the month. A little every day beats a lot once. Color the coloring pages with your kids and talk about the ideas while you color, then hang them up. That’s how a Joyfully Jewish home gets built, one page at a time.

The Ten Days of Awe. The Soul Adventures on forgiveness and spiritual accounting are made for exactly these days.

After Yom Kippur. Print the Sukkah Posters and put them up. You’ll want something beautiful waiting for you.

Every year after this one. You own these files. Print them again next Elul, and the Elul after that, for as long as you like. Buy it once, use it every year of your life.

Please don’t color on Shabbat or Yom Tov, since writing and coloring are prohibited by Jewish law on those days.

What readers have said

“I was able to re-center and re-focus on what I’ve been searching for, and to clearly define what I love. We all have a wellspring in us that can be used to really ‘turn the world right-side up,’ and we need to stay focused and know we can do it!” -Molly Leader, New York-

“Rae’s book reminded me that I am obligated to express the talent and passion that G-d endowed me with.” -Sterna Citron, Los Angeles-

“Loving everything Rae creates, I couldn’t wait to download and start working through this. She has a way of making spirituality approachable, even when it may seem daunting or out of one’s depth. ” -Yael-

Bought separately in this shop, these three come to $70.99. Through Tuesday, September 8, the bundle is $36, exactly what the 42 day plan costs on its own. Both Soul Kits come along free. You save $34.99.
